Monday, January 8

6 pm: High School Gender Equity Conversation and Scrimmage

Calling all high school youth players in the Portland area! We want to hang out and learn about gender equity with you! Join Upwind and Portland Ultimate for a GE workshop, in which we'll explore ways to become more equitable within the context of both single and mixed gender playing environments. Afterward, we'll implement some of those methods in a mixed scrimmage!

This event will be hosted free of charge for all high school youth of all genders who want to attend. #XWTour

Tuesday, January 9

6 pm: 21+ Gender Equity Conversation with Portland Ultimate

Are you 21+ years old? Do you support women in ultimate? Do you like to drink and be merry? 

If you answered yes to all of the above, then you should really come to the Portland Gender Equity Conversation. We're partnering with Portland Ultimate to bring you a discussion on gender equity in the Portland community, with a focus on increasing women in leadership roles. We'll be hosting this event at a bar; unfortunately, we can't have any youngins up in the building. 

We'll also have a raffle with some sweet gear! And like all great ultimate events, there will be some serious / some goofy prizes and a whole lot of fun! #XWTour
