What's your background in ultimate? I started playing when my dad took me outside to throw when I was four. Then we went to pick up together, then I played all throughout high school. I played for my high school, Evanston, then Neuqua Valley my senior year and now in college.

Favorite movie? The Breakfast Club

Favorite book? To Kill A Mockingbird

Favorite food? Ice cream

Favorite animal? Horse

Walk up song? I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston (RIP)

Pump up song? Walk on Water- 30 Seconds to Mars

What's your favorite Kali memory? Anytime we beat Texas is always a favorite.

Why do role models matter? Because it allows young girls to realize that they have the potential to be the next Jesse Shofner, Lien Hoffman, or the next Claire Chastain. I didn't have role models like them growing up and I hope that for the next generation of ultimate players they have great female players to look up to and inspire them to pick up a disc.

What does equity mean to you? Everyone is equal and whatever broken system that is in place is repaired so everyone can be considered an equal.
